Annual Budget |
Before
we took on our capital building program, we needed to secure our Year 2000
Ministry Budget. It will gain nothing to advance the building program if
we do not sustain the wonderful ministry programs that take place within
the buildings.
Taken together, we think our 2 campaigns are exactly
what God desires for us: roots and wings!
Our Year 2000 Ministry Budget is the same as our 1999
Ministry Budget - no increase. However, membership changes - like transfer
to out-of-town congregations, job changes, retirements, etc. - translate
to annual fluctuations. God looks to each of us to prayerfully consider
our financial commitments to Epiphany's ministry. |

Capital
Building
Campaign
|
By
stepping out in faith at crossroads of expansion throughout our history,
new horizons were revealed. Our challenge today is again for ministry - to
provide the facilities needed for the programs, ministries, and staff to
serve the needs of our growing church and its community. We need space to
expand classroom experiences and learning; we need a place where
ministries for families and individuals can take place; we need an
expanded area for concurrent worship services; we need room for our church
leadership to work and guide our members.
Our design
 |
The East Wing – Extending our
facility eastward would cover most of the needs of our ministries
requiring small rooms: Sunday School, small groups, offices,
library/bookstore, and an improved circulation pattern. |
 | The West Wing – Extending the mini-gym westward
would cover (1) 1st floor: most of the needs of our
ministries requiring a larger room and (2) Ground floor: our need for
additional Sunday School & small group rooms. |
Together the 2 wings would give us new
Sunday School rooms (several of which could double as small group rooms);
new offices; a conference room that would double as a Sunday School room;
a dedicated library & bookstore; a new entrance with a
gathering/common area to improve people circulation; a walkway to Far
Hills Shops; and a multi-use activity center large enough for worship,
meals, full-court basketball, and our musical dramas. |
