Epiphany supports many active and committed ministries, both within and outside our congregation. The following is just a sample of our efforts to serve in Christ's name.

Service to Our Global Community
We maintain dedicated partnerships with several international churches.  Pastors and members of Epiphany regularly visit our partners, just as we joyfully receive visits each year from leaders and members of these churches. Our partner congregations include:
Vladivostok, Russia
Pritzier, Dabel, and Gotha, Germany
Tanzania
We also have partnerships with All People's Gathering in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Mt. Enon Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio, to foster interracial dialogues and understanding.

Service to Our Local Community
Throughout our community, Epiphany members reach out to serve and share.  We invite the community to join with us in our Vacation Bible School, Support Groups, and theatrical & musical performances, to name a few.
We also serve the community through a myriad of outreach programs.

Our Food & Clothing Pantry collects and distributes thousands of food, clothing, and other household items each year to families in the Dayton community.  In 1999, we clothed more than 1450 children and 270 adults and provided food and household goods to more than 700 families!

The Dayton Vineyard Project pairs faith communities of different racial and cultural backgrounds to share experiences, learn more about each other, and promote God's plan for one unified church.

Epiphany has joyfully partnered with Habitat for Humanity for many years. Through this valuable program, our members build homes for qualifying families in the Miami Valley, often in concert with other area churches.

The Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) allows Epiphany to provide food and shelter for homeless families in the south Dayton area throughout the year.

Our Health & Wellness Ministry hosts a variety of events, including blood pressure screenings, seminars, and many opportunities for sharing, caring, and fellowship.

Kinship of South Dayton

Day of Caring

Our annual Adopt-A-Family program provides gifts and food for the holidays to families in our community.  In 1999, the program touched the lives of 65 local families who needed a little extra help, including more than 250 children.

Epiphany also supports Wernle and Osterlen childrens' homes and several Lutheran colleges and seminaries.
Service to Our Members
Even though we are a fairly large congregation, we show God's love to one another through a number of ministries aimed at providing support and Christian fellowship at a personal level to all of our members.
