Greetings in the name of Christ
from everyone at
Epiphany Lutheran Church!

Maybe you're new to the Dayton area. Maybe you're looking for a new faith family. If so, welcome!  We hope you consider this web page a personal invitation to Christ's ministry at Epiphany. You'll find something here for you.

Our mission is to be a gathering "celebrating the inviting, caring, and serving Christ." We do that in a variety of exciting and meaningful ways.

Our 4 worship hours (plus 2 more outdoors in the summer) see God's people celebrating the Word and Sacrament with relevant preaching and the best music from the past and present. Professional child care is offered at every worship service and most other church functions.

Educational opportunities are offered for adults and kids all Sunday morning, plus several times throughout the week.

We love to see our children grow in faith. As a church whose largest age category is the 5-10 year olds, the place is hopping with Sesame Street-like Sunday School openings, puppets, a spectacular Christmas program, retreats, and several choirs. We also have a very active youth program, as well as our own preschool.

More intimate bonds develop through study and fellowship groups, gathering those with shared interests such as parents, young adults, or empty nesters. Visitors and members also find support through groups such as divorce recovery, living with cancer, and more.

Outside our walls, we're stimulated through global partnerships with churches in Russia and Germany, as well as local service endeavors such as providing homes through Habitat for Humanity, housing homeless through the Interfaith Hospitality Network, providing foods and gifts through our Adopt-a-Family associations, and building interracial bridges with the help of the Vineyards Project.

Friends. Family. Faith. Future. We'd love for you to be a part of them with us at Epiphany.

The Lord be with you!

Pastor Fritz Wiese, & Pastoral Resident Ann Marie Winters
