The
April Fellowship Luncheon will happen during Holy Week this year. On Tuesday,
April 10, please join us in the gym at 11:30 a.m. Bill Serr, congregation
president, will be updating us on the status of the building program as well as
the efforts of the call committee. Judy Baker (885-3195) will accept
reservations up to Sunday, April 8. The cost will be $6.50 per person. Please
make checks out to JOLY and send to Janet Claudepierre at 6530 Orchid Circle. On
Wednesday, April 11, a group will be attending West
Side Story, a production put on jointly by the Victoria Theatre and the
Dayton Ballet. We will go by church van that evening. We have a group going to
the DAT on April 24 for the Triumph of French Painting Masterpieces from Ingres
to Matisse. We’ll tour the exhibit in the morning and then have lunch. There
may be room for you, too. Please call Janet Claudepierre (433-1128) or Edie
Nesmith (294-4681) for more information. Transportation by church van. From
culture to country! In May, Chervyl Bartos (435-5818) has arranged for us to
tour Willow Run Dairy Farm, a goat farm and product gift store called Caprine
Estates, followed by lunch at Clear Creek Inn. We will go by church van and
carpool. As
always, all of these activities are open to anyone who may be interested whether
members of Epiphany or not. For additional information, please contact any of
the event planners or JOLY Coordinator, Dolores Anderson, 435-8568. |
